About Me.
My name is Wei Li. I'm a Ph.D. student in developmental psychology at Boston College. I'm luckily advised by Prof. Joshua Hartshorne.
I'm a computational cognitive scientist. I am studying language acquisition by focusing on why children acquire languages easier than adults (better cognitive abilities!) and machines (much more data!).
I'm from Chongqing, a mountain city in southwestern China, and I love my hometown. I'm a sort of native dual-language speaker: with my family and friends, we speak Sichuanese (Southwestern Mandarin) instead of Mandarin :)
